Our programs are based on the philosophy that child development occurs optimally in the presence of loving and nurturing adults. Therefore we design programs that work with the complete family unit.

With more than 20,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Chicago the lives of thousands of children are affected by the epidemic. Our Chicago programs strive to touch the lives of each of these children in order to give them a brighter future.

Children's Place International was created in response to the growing number of children affected by HIV/AIDS in the developing world. The program is currently focused on Haiti and Guyana, two countries severely impacted by HIV/AIDS.

There is no Chicago HIV/AIDS crisis. There is no Illinois HIV/AIDS crisis. There is no Haiti HIV/AIDS crisis. There is only one global crisis and with the continued support of our donors we will be able to continue to evolve our services in response to the challenges that our children and families are facing.
