Join Joie DeGraff, Wendi Gordon, and our longtime volunteer Fredi Bensdorf of @Properties for their first annual pickleball tournament on Sunday, September 19th at Maggie Daley Park benefitting Children’s Place Association.
Come play, watch and have fun all while supporting our critical work building a secure and hopeful today so children facing health issues and poverty succeed tomorrow. There are also many fantastic raffle prizes to win. “I feel honored and truly fortunate to help support Children’s Place. This organization not only helps children succeed… it helps families succeed,” says co-host Joie DeGraff.
Our Chief Initiatives Officer, Maurice Fears, Sr., will be there to kick off the festivities. “We are so excited and humbled to partner with Joie, Wendi, and Fredi and be a recipient of this fun event. The mission of Children’s Place Association and the vision for the Child Thrive Initiative align with the goals of this great cause. The support given will go towards direct programming efforts and help to ensure that the West Humboldt Place neighborhood is a great place to be a kid,” said Fears.
