Daniel L. Dever
Director of Development
Dan Dever returned to Children’s Place Association in 2011 as Director of Development. Dan held the same post at the organization from 1992 to 2002 and played a key role in the early growth and expansion of Children’s Place. He directed the capital campaign which raised funds to build the Early Learning Center which currently provides early childhood education to more than 70 children.
Dan brings a wealth of nonprofit and fundraising knowledge to Children’s Place with more than 30 years of industry experience. During his career he has held several leadership positions, most recently as Director of Development for The Youth Campus. Additionally, Dan has worked for SGA Youth and Family Services, The Family Institute at Northwestern University and Howard Brown Health Center.
Dan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
