Susan Reyna-Guerrero, LCSW
Chief Program Officer
Susan Reyna-Guerrero joined Children’s Place Association in summer of 2017 as Director of Programs. In this role, Susan oversees operations of the organization’s domestic programs, including the Early Learning Center, Family & Community Services, Foster & Adoptive Care and the Residential Center.
Susan is a seasoned administrator with more than 30 years of social service experience, all of which have been spent in the Chicago community. Prior to joining Children’s Place, Susan spent most of her career at the Beacon Therapeutic Diagnostic and Treatment Center where she was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2001. Susan has spent her career focusing on helping to systematically advance the issues surrounding homelessness, and its resulting impact on children’s mental health, physical health and overall well-being.
Susan is a licensed clinical social worker and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University.
