They came. They laughed. They played trivia. They listened to a steel drum performance. And they became Champions for Children by supporting our critical work helping Chicago’s most vulnerable children.
On Thursday, July 15, Children’s Place Association’s Junior Board put on a fun and informative, virtual fundraiser, raising nearly $40,000 at their annual gala.
The board is made up of 40 young Chicago professionals, whose invaluable dedication and commitment raise awareness and much-needed financial support for our organization. We want to extend a BIG SHOUT-OUT to Co-Presidents Maureen McCluskey and Breck Seitz, and Co-Event Chairs Paige Larson, Kelly Whitney, and Sue Sullivan, for all their hard work in making this evening fun and successful.
”The trivia night was a ton of fun! I was impressed by the audience’s trivia knowledge, and it was great to hear from members of the Junior Board as to why they volunteer for and support Children’s Place. I am so thankful for the efforts of the Junior Board members and staff at Children’s Place who helped to make the event a great success,” said Maureen McCluskey.
Now, for the exciting prize reveals…
