Early Learning Center
Since 1998, the Arthur E. Jones Early Childhood Care and Learning Center has provided high-quality care and education to low-income children, ages six weeks to five years, whose families face health challenges and disabilities. Originally focused on children affected by HIV/AIDS, we now serve families in need, ensuring every child can thrive.
We’re proud to be one of Chicago’s few early education centers with on-site health services, including a full-time nurse. Our dedicated team tailors learning to each child’s needs, and 100% of our graduates are fully prepared for kindergarten success.
PRIMARY SERVICES
Home-Based Early Education
Our home visits empower parents as their child’s first educators, promoting healthy development from birth to age three. This initiative supports families who may not have access to center-based care, ensuring they receive crucial services. We offer developmental and emotional screenings, monthly health checks by a registered nurse, nutrition assessments, and life-skills education to help parents nurture their child’s growth and well-being.
