Meet Maureen Larson, a Lettuce Entertain You Partner and a dedicated Children’s Place Association’s Donor Engagement Committee member!

Maureen’s passion for the hospitality industry began during a summer job at The Drake Hotel, where she fell in love with meeting people from around the world and making their stay unforgettable. This experience inspired her to pursue a Hotel and Restaurant Management degree at the University of Wisconsin Stout. After several years in the hotel industry, Maureen joined Lettuce Entertain You in 1991 and has held several leadership roles. She is the vice president of parties and special events and has become a partner in Lettuce’s event venues, The Ivy Room and The Dalcy.

Maureen is a mother of two and passionate about developing young women leaders and giving back to Chicago. A sports enthusiast who cheers on the Bears and Cubs, she is committed to making Chicago a better place for everyone. Her passion for service extends to Chicago and Northwest Indiana, where she serves on various boards.

“I am passionate about the City of Chicago and ALL that live here. I have been so fortunate to be able to help by serving in the past on the Chicago Youth Programs Board, and I joined Children’s Place Association in 2023 on the Donor Engagement Committee. I was inspired to help CPA after touring the Early Childhood Center in Humboldt Park. There is not a day that goes by that I am not thinking of ways to help,” Maureen shares.

Cinaiya Stubbs, CEO & President of Children’s Place Association, adds, “I have known Maureen for almost ten years, and besides her fabulous white hair, one of the other things that is so striking about her is her energy to do great work for great causes. Maureen’s energy to help and be an ambassador for great causes has not fizzled in the decade that I have known her and stands as the archetype for how one person’s involvement can blossom into phenomenal impact.”
