We at Children’s Place Association know that you want to be involved and support organizations that can show the positive impact they’ve had on the lives of others.
Since opening our doors in 1991, we’ve served more than 6,000 Chicago-area children and parents struggling with health issues and poverty through our comprehensive programs. Many of our children have gone on to lead rich, satisfying lives, and are even compelled to support us in doing our work.
We track objective measures for the work we do. We research the best practices for interventions–combining those with onsite experience, ethics and client preferences to guide the delivery of our services. Then, we use methods to evaluate our effectiveness and the outcome for our clients. By collecting data*, we’re able to monitor and improve our performance, the quality and the effectiveness of the services we provide.

Challenges & Research
Children who face the dual challenges of illness and poverty are less likely to grow into accomplished students, successful workers and engaged citizens. The work of Children Place Association is aimed at transforming the future for these children through our focused model of early childhood education, social services, health care and family supports.

“Children’s Place is like family to me. They have supported me and my children and helped keep our family strong and united…. I don’t think the staff or supporters will ever fully know how much they have impacted my life.”
